We are Andrew and Nhoell, the husband-and-wife duo behind Perez Portraits! We reside in Tacoma, Washington but love traveling all over the PNW. We come from big loving families who have shaped how we put our love for storytelling, hospitality, and creativity into action. We both have enjoyed the camera as a tool since we were young and had been taking photos to document our memories since we started dating in 2016. The start of our business came out of our spontaneous honeymoon trip to Yellowstone National Park in September of 2022. We were going off the adrenaline of planning and executing such a special and meaningful wedding celebration with our loved ones. We asked ourselves, “What’s next?!” We’ve declared that Perez Portraits is driven by our our strong values of family, community, and connection. These values have deepened in meaning ever since we became parents in 2023 to our daughter, Anita!

Our work is more than just photography, it’s relationship - through and through! We love getting to the heart of the matter whether we’re photographing individuals for senior portraits, couples for maternity portraits, or families for a wedding celebration - we know you are coming to us at a special season of your life and we don’t take that lightly.

We are grateful to serve others through our gifts and aim to genuinely connect with each person with respect for who they are because we know it makes a difference once the camera comes into play. We want to capture authenticity - whatever that means for each individual and family - their personalities, meaningful gestures, and dynamics.
